CEAT Tractor Radials Exceeding Expectations in Kentucky

Farmers in London, KY, are loving the wide footprint of the CEAT FARMAX rear tractor radials!

That is according to Mike Philpot, owner of Philpot’s Tire Center in London. PhilpotPhilpots Tire Center has CEAT FARMAX radials on four tractors on a farm and equipment operation responsible for mowing 100-plus miles of the 1-75 corridor in Kentucky. He also has two tractors equipped with CEAT radials for a neighboring county road department.

Philpot said the CEAT field hazard warranty has been a big selling point to his customers because competing brands do not have this; it gives his customers the confidence to give CEAT a try. Once they try CEAT, Philpot says they are extremely pleased.

Warranty

Any CEAT Ag radial that becomes unserviceable, unrepairable or unsafe due to a defect in materials or workmanship during the first two years and no more than 25 percent wear is warranted for 100 percent credit.

For the 3rd to 7th year, the products are warranted on a pro-rated basis depending on tread wear. If the tire is 90 percent worn, a 10 percent credit will be given to the customer.

In addition, CEAT Ag radials are warranted for field hazard and stubble damage. If a tire fails due to this type of damage within the first year, the customer will receive a 75 percent credit. Credit will be 50 percent within the 2nd year and 25 percent credit within 3rd year.

The Power of CTRDeere in action at Catalpadale Dairy-1

CEAT tires deliver the “Power of CTR” to American farmers.

Compaction

To achieve a larger footprint, CEAT FARMAX Ag radials have larger inner volume, higher tread arc and flexible sidewalls. The larger footprint helps with soil compaction, an insidious threat to crop yields.

Traction

Traction is another important aspect behind the Power of CTR. Armed with unique dual-angle lugs, with a lower angle at the shoulder and more lugs in the footprint, FARMAX tires deliver superior traction in the field and on the road. This reduces slippage, thus saving time and fuel.

Roadability

Roadability – defined as ride comfort on the road – is also critical. CEAT tires are packed with features like higher lug overlap and higher lug continuity to provide stability and comfort for a smooth ride back home.

WE ARE THRILLED THAT PHILPOT'S TIRE CENTER IS HAVING SUCH SUCCESS WITH CEAT AND WISH THEM ALL THE BEST!
